Worship at Westminster Members and friends of Westminster gather weekly for worship on Sundays at 10 a.m. , and for special services throughout the year. We follow a traditional Presbyterian order of worship, incorporating the word of God through scripture, message and music in each service. The Lord's Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, and we invite all who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to join us. We love visitors, so whether you're looking for a new church home or simply in the neighborhood, please stop by and join us if you're able. We encourage busy young families to attend; Sunday School for children preschool through grade 5 is also at 10 a.m., and we provide nursery care for infants and toddlers. Our greeters or ushers would be happy to help you with any questions or needs you might have. Easter Worship
Easter Sunday through the Seventh Sunday of Easter is
to be understood as the crown of the whole church year, the queen of
feasts, and as such it lasts not for a day, not for a week, but for
seven weeks. It is one extended celebration–50
days of rejoicing.
And we will rejoice throughout Easter, beginning on
Easter Sunday with songs of triumph, boldly proclaiming Christ’s
victory over death and evil, a stirring, hope filled message, a
joyous celebration of the Lord’s Supper, special prayers, and a
procession of children behind a flower-adorned cross, proclaiming
Christ’s resurrection.
